Prospects of rain with thunder in Tamil Nadu

Due to the formation of a low-pressure zone in the atmosphere, there are prospects of rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained that a low-pressure zone has developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere between South Andhra Pradesh and South Tamil Nadu. Due to this, there are prospects of rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The Chennai Metro City will remain cloudy. There may light rain in a few places.
