On Sunday, Reliance Jio had begun with shipping its JioPhones. To start with, 6 million phones were shipped yesterday. During Jio Annual General Meet in July, Reliance Jio had unveiled the device. In spite of being late in shipment now, it is likely that Jio will be equipped with 6 million JioPhones to meet the people’s demand.
To start with, Reliance will start shipping the devices in rural areas, say reports by a channel partner of Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd.
As per this report, within 10 or 15 days, over 6 million devices will be delivered, say reports.
With very few days of the launch of device, there were millions of pre-bookings received. At present, pre-booking is paused, however those interested can get themselves registered for the device. The company shall inform once the JioPhone is available once again for pre-booking.
