Rain to persist till 6th October: Chennai Meteorological Centre

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the rain will persist in several places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry till 6th October.
The Southwest monsoon has severely intensified and there have been heavy rains in the states of Karnataka and Andhra.
A cyclonic formation has developed over the Bay of Bengal in the region from Andhra to the Northern districts of Tamil Nadu. Because of this, it has been raining in the northern districts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. This rain may persist till 6th October.
