A 2-day Indian Tourism Fair, conducted by Madura Travel, starts today (Friday, 6th October) at Stella Maris College, Chennai.
The state government touring companies of several states, including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Gujarat, and the tourism corporations of other countries including Malaysia, Thailand, and Oman have set up their stalls.
Arrangements have been made in order that the students doing tourism course in colleges, the lecturers and teachers, and organisers of tours, and the public to visit the fair.
The Fair is open today (6th Oct) and tomorrow (7th Oct) from 9.30 AM to 4.00 PM.
On the 1st day of the Fair, only those who had registered in advance and those who had been invited will be allowed to visit.
The public and the students studying courses other than tourism can all attend the Fair on the 2nd day (tomorrow).
