Since last many days, several districts in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Telangana witnessed no significant good amount of rains. Likewise, the past 24 hours were no different and the aforementioned states continued to experience warm and dry weather. In fact, during the first few days of October, these areas including their capital city had been observing good rains.
The reason for such weather conditions can be attributed to a trough line which is seen extending from North Bay of Bengal up to Tamil Nadu across Andhra Pradesh.
One or two spells of light rain and thundershower activities are likely in some parts of the Chennai during the next 24 hours. Further, the partly cloudy sky is expected to turn cloudy by tomorrow afternoon or late evening hours.
With this, day temperatures will rise significantly thus, little warm and hot weather conditions are likely to persist over the state as well as Chennai.
