Flipkart introduces door delivery service for grocery items

The popular online trader, Flipkart, has introduced a new service to make door-delivery of the ordered grocery items in Bengaluru.
Flipkart has introduced a new mobile app, called ‘Supermart’ for the door-delivery of grocery items.
When the total amount of order exceeds Rs. 500, home-delivery is available. When the order exceeds Rs. 1000, the door delivery is free.
Presently, the facility can be availed only by a few select customers in Bengaluru. However, the service is set to be extended soon to all the customers.
Under a plan called ‘open-box’, a facility is provided for the customers to check the items received and also to return some of the items which are not satisfactory.
