Anna University examinations postponed

Anna University examinations, originally scheduled to be conducted from 2nd December, now stand postponed to 5th December.
Earlier, the state government of Tamil Nadu had announced the change of the date for holiday on the occasion of the Muslim festival Milad-un-nabi from the earlier scheduled 1st December to 2nd December. The state government informed that the change is as per the appeal from the Chief Haji requesting this change.
Now, as 2nd December has been declared as a government holiday, the Anna University examinations scheduled to be conducted on this day had to be postponed. It is now announced that these examinations will be conducted on 5th December.
