17 Lakh applicants for Group-4, VAO posts

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has informed that 17 lakh candidates have applied for the Group-4, VAO (Village Administrative Officer) posts.

Yesterday (Wednesday, 13th December) was the last date for applying for the posts of the Group-4 category and VAO posts. Till yesterday evening, 17 lakh candidates have applied.

For the applicants who have not paid the application fee so far, time is available for the same until 12.00 midnight 15th December.

The applicant can access the status of their applications by clicking the option ‘APPLICATION STATUS’ on the official website of TNPSC. In case the application fee has not been accepted when paying through net banking, credit or debit cards, access the link ‘online payment verification’, update the transaction data and then check again on the option APPLICATION STATUS.

In case all attempts to make payment had failed, the applicants need to make a fresh payment before the midnight of 15th December.

After the checking the reasons for the transaction failure, in case the amount of transaction is traced, it will be credited to the applicant’s bank account.

The candidates who made payment either through Post Office or Indian Bank challan have to fill up the details asked for in the option APPLICATION STATUS and wait till 20th December and then check the status.

In case the amount has not been credited even after this, send Xerox copy of the payment receipt/challan to the email address: apdtech2014@gmail.com before 26th December.
