Polio drops camp on Jan 28, 2018

For the coming new year, the administration of polio drops is scheduled on 28th January 2018. With the main ambition of making India a polio-free country, polio drops are administered every year to children of 5 years age in 2 installments.
A review meeting was conducted in Chennai by the concerned department to fix the dates of polio administration for the coming year 2018.
The deputy directors of medicine and health and the corporation welfare officers participated.
A detailed review was conducted regarding the number of children to be a administer polio drops camp details, suggestions for changes, etc.
Accordingly, the 1st installment of polio administration camp was scheduled for 28th January.
The participants were asked to give their suggestions whether an increase in the number of health centres under each district/city corporation is warranted.
