Filing of the GSTR-1 for the businesses that have a turn over up to 1.5 crore is extended to January 10, 2018. For the rest of the enterprises, they can file the return for the period between July and November by January 10.
The sales data along with the GSTR-1 will provide necessary information about the matching data in the dealer level. The monthly filing of GSTR-3B will also solves this purpose enclosing tax liability and eligibility data.
Filing of the GSTR-1 will help the Tax body of India to fight against the illegal tax evasion or in case of revenue loss. GSTR-2 will also come into the action by the next fiscal year April.
The GSTR-1 return filing of the month of July to October and November should be done by December 31 and January 10 respectively.
The filing from the month of November with a turn over up to 1.5 crore will be final GSTR-1 quarterly.
