Arjitha Seva resumed at Tirupathi temple

Due to the sacred occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi, Vaikunta Dwadasi, and the English New Year, the regular sevas such as Arjitha Seva had been cancelled by the TTD (Thirumalai Tirupathi Devsthanam Board) for a few days. As the festivals got over yesterday (Monday, 1st January), all the regular sevas like Arjitha Seva will be resumed from today (Tuesday, 2nd January) at the Tirupathi temple.

On the above-sacred occasions, an additional 40000 devotees had visited Thirumalai-Tirupathi to have a Darshan of the Lord Venkateswara. On the sacred day of Vaikunta Ekadasi alone, 74144 devotees had the Darshan of the Lord. On the occasion of the Vaikunta Dwadasi day, 75658 devotees had the Darshan of the Lord. This makes up for a total of 1.5 Lakh devotees who had Darshan on the 2 days.

Again, on the occasion of the New Year, lakhs of devotees had the Darshan of the Lord. During the occasion of the above days, the regular sevas like Arjitha Seva stood cancelled.

With the festivals being over, all the regular sevas including Arjitha Seva will be resumed from today, Today’s planned event of Garuda Seva on the Full Moon Day (Pournami) has been cancelled.
