The Samadhan Scheme will soon be introduced in the registration department to ensure clearing of the huge backlog of pending documents and to enable the public to get back their registered documents quickly.
In an official statement released by the Department of Commercial Taxes and Registration, the government said, public can get back their registered documents pending under section 47A by paying 2/3rd of the difference of stamp duty between the duty already paid and the duty that has to be paid as per the guideline value. Documents which are pending as on July 8, 2017, for the determination of market value are eligible for the scheme.
