Mathematics scholar Srinivasa Ramanujam’s birthday is celebrated today

Today December 22/12/2012 .the legendary & well known mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujam’s Birthday is celebrated throughout India.Mr.Ramanujam is said to be the one of well known Mathematician and an autodidact. with almost no formal training in pure mathematics, made extraordinary contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series, and continued fractions. Ramanujan developed his own mathematical research in isolation when he is in Europe. As a result, he sometimes rediscovered known theorems in addition to producing new work. Ramanujan was said to be a natural genius by the English mathematician.
Ramanujam born in the poor Brahmin family and he had his experiments and learning interest in mathematics in the age of 10 yrs. he even discovered theorems of his own, and re-discovered Euler`s identity independently. Ramanujan finished his journey to the world because of illness, malnutrition, and possibly liver infection in 1920 at the age of 32.
