Chennai High Court orders TN govt to pay the arrears of transport employees

It is a well-known news that the Department of Transport of the Tamil Nadu State government has kept various payments pending to the transport corporation employees, including the pension of the retired employees and the arrears to be paid as per the wage revision.
The Transport Corporations have been facing huge debts to be paid and incurring heavy losses and hence has not been able to arrange for the above payments.
In this scenario, the Chennai High Court has ordered that the state government of Tamil Nadu arrange immediate payments of the pending arrears to its employees.
