It is now said that on 14th and 15th of January 2018, food and garden festival in Muttukadu would be held and this Dakshina Chitra museum would be conducting this festival.

It is revealed that food experts would be employed for the purpose of making street foods present in the four southern Indian states to be made here and that would be fantastic.
People visiting this food and garden festival during Pongal would be surprised to see street foods from the state of Kerala such as fish curry, kappa, Syrian beef fry, chicken curry etc.  Street foods from Karnataka such as pandi curry, kadam kootu, paputtu, Coorg chicken fry plus kori grass kori rotti etc would also be there.
