Soon theoretical subjects in painting and sports in Tamil Nadu schools

The news that has come out is form the next academic year the students studying in the schools in the state of Tamil Nadu would have theory classes in painting. It is now clear that these students would be learning many details regarding art from the books designed for this purpose. It is known that till now these students studying in the schools in TN use paints and brushes in their painting classes and dont read about the art of painting through books.
It is now revealed that new syllabus is now formulated by the department of school education for this purpose.
Another important piece of news that has emerged is physical education till now has been mostly in the grounds. From the next academic year this physical education would also have theory based classes. The students would be learning about diet, health aspects, rule of the games plus the students would also be learning about the masters in different sports.
It is now said that there were many representations for streamlining arts, music and sports present in the schools. It must be noted formulating curriculum for these above mentioned subjects was very important and a decision regarding this was taken by the government when they decided to revise syllabus for all the subjects.
According to an art subject teacher, age of the students in each class was considered while designing the syllabus and both theory as well as practical would be present in the new syllabus. The art teacher also spoke about how in a week time the council would meet and decide about the subjects for the students. In the past the teachers taught painting and sketching by means of random publications as there was no syllabus.
