This no-detention policy till class eight in TN schools might end soon

Education is must for the students as it gives them great self confidence to succeed in their lives later. Students studying in TN schools up to eighth class are happy now because of the fact they would not be detained and this situation for the students of class eight would change soon. It is now said that the education department belonging to the state of Tamil Nadu met recently to discuss few things. It is now revealed that from the next academic year the students of class eight would have to appear for a common examination.
Inspite of their academic performances the students studying in the classes up to eighth till now are not detained and are promoted. It must be noted that this no-detention policy was implemented to remove fears in the student minds so that they would complete elementary education easily.
It is now revealed that this easy promotion of students lead to problems regarding the student growth.
