BSNL had announced a few weeks earlier that it was set to withdraw the unlimited free voice call facility to their landline broadband customers. However, it has now announced that it is extending this facility for another 3 months.
At present, the unlimited free voice call facility by BSNL is in vogue for the landline customers. BSNL announced that this facility would be cut from 1st February. BSNL informed that the withdrawal of this facility would be applicable to the existing landline customers as well as the new ones.
BSNL has 12 million landline customers throughout the country.
Further, the existing free voice call system between 9.00 PM to 7.00 AM had already been reduced to – from 10.00 PM to 6.00 AM. The customers were upset by this.
With a large number of appeals from its landline customers expressing discontent about this, BSNL has acceded to their demand and now has come up with the announcement that the unlimited free voice calls facility on Sundays for its landline customers will be extended for another 3 months.
