Aircel has come to the focus of all media and people for the sudden shut down of the connecting services of the entire network. People have flooded to Aircel Customer Service centers to enquire about the suspension of the services and the chaos is spreading big across the employees of Aircel also.
The top official of the Aircel confirmed about the hard phase the company is facing now in terms of finance and debt control. The report confirmed about the layoff or salary cutoff of the company’s 5000 employees and openly warned about the difficult decision the higher end has to make on to reach the financial safe zone in this emergency situation.
According to the report of Aircel`s Chief Executive Officer Kaizad Heerjee the funding of the Aircel telecom service provider hit a deep bed of the debt ocean and have to take arm cutting decisions to keep the company alive. Also Mr. Heerjee claims about the business operation of the company is now at a stall, as the cash generation through banks has to be sorted out as soon as possible.
Some of the few directors of the Company had resigned because of this long pending lack in raising the funds to recover the company. New directors who replaced the positions are likely to form the board meeting soon to resolve the network shut down situation.
