In order to equip the students, teachers and parents to cope up with the issues regarding the exam season the department of mental health and behavioural sciences, as a part of Fortis National School Mental Health Programme, has launched an online as well as offline campaign all over India. This has attracted the attention of many now and is spoken in high regards.
It is interesting to note that in as many as 210 schools across as many as 21 cities in India more than 240 workshops took place and these workshops grabbed the attention.
There are few things that medicos present in these workshops discussed with the students and parents. It is revealed that as many as 25000 students and 1100 parents were equipped by the medicos and these medicos spoke about various topics like smarter study planning, improving memory plus concentration of the students. Medicos also discussed few things about time management and reducing stress due to examinations.
For the sake of exam related stress, a 24/7 helpline run by psychiatrists as well as by psychologists have been given for students plus their parents now. It is now said that every day this helpline gets about 200 calls and topics such as time management plus others like exam preparation and distress were discussed effectively.
These days social media platform play vital role in our daily lives is well known. These social media platforms are now utilized for sharing animated videos on study and exam skills, giving students tips regarding concentration, management of time, memory etc plus others like stress relieving techniques.
Toolkits for the parents to help their kids to cope up with the examinations and exam stress are also shared in these social media platforms. It must be noted that these students play huge role in the development of the society in the future.
