IOB awarded for its contribution to Priority Sector Lending and Financial Literacy in Tamil Nadu

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), one of the leading public sector banks in Southern India has been recognized for its services in the state of Tamil Nadu in offering best financial services to priority sector lending and financial literacy. The bank has been conferred with two awards at the State Credit seminar organized by National Bank for Agriculture and
Rural Development (NABARD), an apex development financial institution in India.
The awards were received by Indian Overseas Bank from Mr. O.Panneerselvam Hon’able
Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu at the function held in Chennai on February 27, 2018.
Commenting on this recognition, Indian Overseas Bank said, "We are happy to receive these recognitions for the products and services offered in the priority sector lending and financial literacy, which is an important sector for the overall growth of the Indian Economy.
