Online booking facility for Train tickets cut

As some maintenance work is being carried out on the internet website, IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) has informed that this facility will be cut off and will not function till today evening (Sunday, 4th March).
IRCTC conducts the ‘Bharat Darshan Tours. With this, travel can be undertaken to visit the various religious centres throughout the country by special trains. The passengers do have the option to travel on their own by other trains as well.
Several activities have been initiated to improve the Department of Railways.
With a view to completely digitalise the official website of IRCTC, an important maintenance work is scheduled to be carried out from 12.00 Midnight to 4.30 PM today (Sunday, 4th March).
IRCTC has informed that the booking and cancellation services online will not be available for the trains running other places to Chennai.
