In the month of January 2018 a mobile app named Namma Chennai was launched by the Greater Chennai Corporation is well known. The main purpose of the mobile app was to lodge complaints by the residents of Chennai city.
The latest news that is out now is 95.5 percent of civic complaints received through the ‘Namma Chennai’ app have been resolved. This was confirmed by Greater Chennai Corporation on Monday, 5th March 2018.
It is worthy to mention that as many as 4221 people have downloaded this app from play store present in the Android platform and that is superb news. It is now said that this ‘Namma Chennai’ app would soon be making its presence felt on the iOS platform also belonging to iPhone. This has now made many iPhone users very happy as they too would be able to download this ‘Namma Chennai’ app to lodge their complaints.
According to a statement it is clear that the app received a total of 1191 complaints and 1138 have been corrected.
Officials belonging to corporation spoke about how the complaints registered through app reach the city corporation based official directly. The official also spoke about how notifications on the status of the complaints were sent to complainants mobile.
