Students belonging to class ten in TN are busy with their state board examinations now. These students of class ten wrote English examination recently is known. It is now revealed that students have found few questions in the English paper not clear and tough.
According to the students some questions that were asked in English examination had two answers and students must be awarded marks if they wrote either answer. It was also brought out that some questions in sections A and B were confusing and as many as five questions were twisted further increasing the confusions in the students.
Class ten English teacher Kitheri Stella spoke about how this time repeated questions were not asked and the question paper was different. She also highlighted that the abbreviation questions asked for the first time plus few questions that were not correct in the last section.
This English teacher later spoke about how the students from other schools would have found the question paper very difficult when compared to the matriculation school goers.
St Michel’s Academy is a popular school in Chennai and a student named Deepa from this school spoke about how the English question paper was tricky but not tough overall.
She further threw light on the fact that section E was very tough because in that section a word was given and the students were asked to use the same words in three sentences. This was not asked in the past and was different. Deepa also spoke about how two marks questions were also difficult and lightly confusing for the students.
