Even as the opposition parties have announced a work strike tomorrow, the petrol bunks employees unions have informed that they will not participate and the petrol bunks will function tomorrow (Thursday, 5th April).
Different unions and federations are organizing a strike as a protest to immediately form the Cauvery Management Board
Opposition parties including DMK have announced the strike tomorrow.
In this regard, the President of the Tamil Nadu Petroleum Products Traders Association, Murali, explained:
‘Several political parties and Traders/Employees associations have called for a strike regarding the delay in the central government forming the Cauvery Management Board. However, our associations will participate only on the issues regarding the welfare of farmers on occasions when all unions join to together or a strike.’
