Grace Pension for Cooperative bank pensioners revised up

There are 23 Central Cooperative banks in Tamil Nadu. A monthly grace pension of Rs. 3500 was being paid to the pensioners who retired from service after working in these banks.
Now, the monthly grace pension has been revised upwards to Rs. 4500.
If the pensioners die, the monthly family pension of Rs. 1750 was being paid to the pensioner’s family. Now, this has also been revised upwards to Rs. 2250.
The Chief Secretary of the state government department of Food and cooperatives, Kumar Jayanth, has released the above orders.
With this, around 3000 pensioners in Tamil Nadu and their families will benefit.
