Special trains to be run for the summer vacation

With the summer vacations about to start, in order to counter the extra passengers in the train travel, biweekly special additional trains will be operated.
Train No. 06027, with special fares, from Chennai Tambaram to Kollam will be operated twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays will be operated from 9th April until 27th June.
The train will leave Tambaram at 5.30 PM and reach Kollam by the next day morning 10.30. Similarly, the train no. 06028, will start at Kollam on all Tuesdays and Thursdays (twice a week) will be operated from 10th April until 28th June. The train will start at 1.00 PM from Kollam and reach Chennai the next day morning at 5.05 AM.
Trains cancelled today:
As technical works are being planned and carried out on the tracks between Villupuram Mambalappattu and Villupuram Katpadi, the two part-distance trains nos. 56883 and 56884 are cancelled.
Because of this, the arrival of the Tirupathi-Rameswaram Express (No. 16779) will be delayed by 15 minutes.
