The drinking water supply will be stopped for 2 days from 9.00 AM tomorrow (Saturday, 23rd June) in 13 places in the Chennai Metro City including Alandur, Adambakkam, and Nanganallur as maintenance works are scheduled to be carried out.
CMWSSB (Chennai Metro Water Supply Sewerage Board) has informed that maintenance works scheduled to be carried out in the Alandur drinking water centre from 9.00 AM on 21st June to 9.00 AM on 23rd June.
So, during the above period, there would be no drinking water supply in the areas of Alandur, Adambakkam, Bhakthavatsalam Nagar, Nanganallur, Pazhavanthangal, Cantonment areas, army tainting centre, Meenambakkam, Pammal, Pallavaram, Anakaputhur, Pozhichalur, and Ghouse Bazaar.
The public is requested to cooperate by storing the required water well in advance.
