Heaviest rains of the Year in Wayanad, massive inflow into Kabini Dam and so will be the increase water released and the increase in inflow into Mettur Dam

Thariode in Wayanad is catchment area of Kabini Dam which is already overflowing over 36,000 cusecs is being released. Today Thariode has got whopping 249 mm rainfall. This will result in inflow nearing 35,000 - 40,000 cusecs into the Kabini dam. Wayanad Rainfall ending 8.30 am on 10.07.18

Pookode - 100 mm
Meanwhile, Kodagu (Coorg) is getting heavy rains too. KRS inflow is expected to Jump to over 30,000 cusecs. The Hydrograph of KRS and Kabini dam is enclosed as photos.
