An upward revision in Incentive payments to the Trainee Doctors

The incentive payments made to the medical students studying in their last year on mandatory rotational in-house training sessions and the candidates pursuing their post-graduate or the post-graduate diploma courses (not working in the government hospitals) has been increased.

In an order released by the Chief Minister on this, the ‘in-house’ trainees will be paid a monthly incentive of Rs 20000. The 1st year post-graduate medical students will be paid a monthly incentive of Rs. 35000. The 2nd year post-graduate medical students will get a monthly incentive of Rs. 37500.

The 3rd Year students will get a monthly incentive of Rs, 45000. The 1st year medical students will get a monthly incentive of Rs. 35000. The 2nd year students will get a monthly incentive of Rs. 37500. The 1st year student of higher speciality medical courses will get a monthly incentive of Rs. 40000 and the 2nd year students will get a monthly incentive of Rs. 43500. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th-year students of the special medical courses will get a monthly incentive of Rs. 45000.
