The Tamil Nadu State Government Examination Board has announced that candidates with a pass in the SSLC cannot write the +2 Public Examinations directly as a private candidate.
So far, there was a rule prevailing that the candidates with a pass in the SSLC can directly write the +2 Public Examinations as a private candidate.
In this situation, the Tamil Nadu State Examination Board has now come up with the announcement that this will not be allowed henceforth. The details:
‘Up till now, there is a rule which prevailed that the candidates with a pass in the SSLC can directly write the +2 Public Examinations as a private candidate.
However, as per the recent changes, the year-end examinations after completing +1 have also been changed as Public Examinations conducted by the state government. So. from now onwards, the candidates with a pass in the SSLC cannot write the +2 Public Examinations directly as a private candidate. They have to write the +1 Public Examinations first, pass and then only they will be eligible to write the +2 Public Examination as a private candidate.’
