+2 supplementary exam start on 24th September-SSLC passed private candidate cannot write

The Directorate of the State Government Examination Board has announced the details for the +2 supplementary examinations. It is scheduled to commence on 24th September and conclude on 4th October.

As per the recent introduction, the +1 Annual examinations have been changed into Public Examination conducted by the state government. Hence, the candidates who have completed 10th Standard or SSLC cannot appear in the above +2 Supplementary Examinations as a private candidate.

The details of the announcement released by the Director, Vasundhara Devi:

The dates for the +2 supplementary examinations for those who failed in the previous public examinations have been announced.

Only those students/candidates who wrote the previous examinations as per the old system of total marks of 1200 with 200 marks for each subject are qualified to write this +2 supplementary examination.

As per the Government Order released by the state government of Tamil Nadu on 3rd October 2017, the candidates who have passed the 10th Standard Public Examinations or its equivalent (SSLC) will not be eligible to apply and write this +2 supplementary examination.

The students/private candidates interested in applying can apply from 27th August through the district-wise State Government Examination Board Service Centres. The last date for applying is 1st September. The students/candidates who fail to meet this deadline will need to apply through the Tatkal Scheme by paying an additional fee of Rs. 1000 and apply online on the 2 dates of 3rd and 4th September.

The candidates need to pay a fee of Rs. 50 per subject and an additional charge of Rs. 35. An online registration fee of Rs. 50 will be collected. These fees will have to be paid in cash.
