No examinations in October for the high school students

The state minister for school education, K. A. Sengottaiyan, has informed that no examinations will be conducted in October for the candidates who failed in the public examination. In an interview session at the Chennai Secretariat, it is a routine to conduct examinations in September or October for the candidates who failed in the March public examination. However, from the next year, these examinations will be conducted in the month of July.

So, the candidates who failed in the March public examinations can write the examinations in July and pursue their higher education (college/university) in the same academic year.

Lots of letters have been received appealing to adopt the government schools. A special team has been formed led by the District Primary Education Officers. The headmasters of the schools are also included in this committee.

Permission to adopt the government schools will be given within 24 hours,

With regard to the complaint contact number set up regarding the safety of girl students, 14417, 300 complaints have been received so far. Actions are being initiated on these complaints.
