Facility to pay fees online to obtain the driving licence

The facility to make the payment of fees online for obtaining the driving licence is set to be implemented from tomorrow (Monday, 1st October).
All the RTOs (Road Transport Offices) and related section office throughout the state of Tamil Nadu, all the activities related to driving licence are being taken up online right from 1st March 2017.
Presently, the payment of fees to obtain the driving licence has to be paid visiting the RTO. However, from tomorrow, 1st October, all the activities related to the driving licence including payment of fees will be taken up online.
The applicants can visit the website: https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan. They can make the payment of fees online. The applications may also be sent through the approved driving training schools.
