Prospects of rain due to thermal convection

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of rain with lightning and thunder in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to the phenomenon of thermal convection.
An official from the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained in this regard that due to the phenomenon of thermal convection, there are prospects of rain or rain with thunder in several places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There are prospects of heavy rain in 1 or 2 places. There are prospects of rain with lightning and thunder in 1 or 2 places.
The Chennai Metro will remain cloudy. There are prospects of mild rain in a few places.
The maximum temperature will be 93.2 Degrees Fahrenheit and the minimum temperature will be 80.6 Degrees Fahrenheit.
