Located between oesophagus and small intestine is a muscular hollow organ in the gastrointestinal tract or GI tract of human beings. This is called as stomach. Stomach plays an important role in the digestive system and is involved in the second phase of digestion is known to us. This stomach aids in food digestion by secreting enzymes and gastric acids etc.
People travel to many places these days and inspite of the caution taken by the people they get many stomach related issues in them. During their travel people consume more oily food items and this result in many stomach issues. It is said that when travelling a person must eat healthy foods and avoid junk and oily foods. The persons who travel must drink water as dehydration could also create issues in them.
These are the stomach related issues that occur in those who travel
Acidity and indigestion based issues:
This is one important stomach related issue most of us would have had during travelling. Acidity is also called as dyspepsia and it occurs due to intake of more oily spices etc during the travel. This also creates heartburn and finally passing of gas occurs.
Flatulence issue:
Our stomach becomes bloated due to over eating during the travel. It is said that people consume certain foods that cause gas in them. This would trigger the issue of flatulence in us. So be careful.
Diarrhoea issue:
It is common to see many travellers getting affected with diarrhoea. The reason is during travelling the people consume unhealthy foods plus drink contaminated water from different places. This results in diarrhoea. Other problems like vomiting and abdominal pain are also triggered.
Dysentery issue:
It is known that dysentery is an inflammatory disease of colon and it results in diarrhoea and abdominal pain in us. Bacterial infection is responsible for dysentery. During this issue mucous and blood are seen in the stools. It is important to take care during the travel to avoid getting dysentery.
Painful cramps in stomach:
When we travel we consume spicy foods and this could result in severe stomach pain and cramps etc in us. Please avoid eating excess of spicy foods during travelling.
Constipation issues:
During travelling many of us would have suffered from constipation issue. This constipation refers to movement of bowels that are hard to pass. It is important that we must consume healthy foods like whole grains, dried fruits etc.
