The low pressure area in Arabian Sea is expected to become a strong Cyclone and move away to Oman / Yemen. But why is it going to Oman/Yemen coast instead of Pakistan or Gujarat or Indian coast.
=========================
In the case of Kerala and Karnataka the answer can be straight "no" as cyclone move from east to west in northern hemisphere due to earth Coriolis force and thats why we always see cyclone making landfall in east coast of Andhra / Tamil Nadu or Odisha rather than west coast of Karnataka / Goa or Kerala. The origin of storms too play a role sometimes caught in deep layered steer cyclones do cross Gujarat in west coast but its too are rare ones.
