The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts Public Examination for 10th Standard and +2 classes every year.
Generally, when there are proposed changes in either the question paper format for the public examination or the correcting procedure of the answer sheets, CBSE announces in advance about the same.
Accordingly, CBSE has made an announcement in this regard.
Several changes have been carried out the format of the +2 English Question Paper. Until now, 40 questions were asked in this paper. It has been announced that henceforth, only 35 questions will be asked in this paper.
The questions are set in 2 categories. In the 1st category, 5 questions will be asked and the right answer has to be selected out of the options given. In the next category, in the 1st part, 9 questions will be asked for which brief and very short answers are to be given. In the 2nd part, 3 questions will be asked for which short answers are to be given. In the 2nd part of the 2nd category, 2 questions will be asked which will require detailed long answers.
A model question paper of the above-revised format for +2 English Question Paper has been uploaded by CBSE on its official website -
