Cyclone Luban over the Arabian Sea - Info from Chennai Meteorological Centre

The director of Chennai Meteorological Centre, Balachandran has informed that the cyclone, Luban, has formed over the Arabian Sea.
The low-pressure zone which formed over the Arabian Sea over a few days ago has not intensified into a deep depression zone and to convert into a cyclone, named Luban. This expected to drift towards the coasts of Oman.
A low-pressure zone has formed over the Bay of Bengal as well and is intensifying. So, there are prospects that it may turn into a cyclone.
Because of the climate has changed for the northeast monsoon to set in.
There are prospects of mild rain in several places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 24 hours. There is also prospects heavy rain in a few places in the northern Tamil Nadu region.
There are prospects of mild rain in Chennai Metro and its suburbs.
Because of the above, the fishermen are cautioned not to venture into the sea in the Arabian Sea region.
