NGO to start programmes in Rajasthan and UP

‘Hand in Hand’ a Chennai-based NGO will now extend its services to Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The announcement was made during the organisation’s 10th Anniversary function on Monday.
Hand in Hand will start programmes on health and sanitation, environmental protection, microfinance and women’s empowerment in the two States.
US Consul General of Chennai, Ms. Jennifer McIntyre, gave the key note address. The other dignitaries included Sanya IAS, Special Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development and Dr. Kalpana Sankar, CEO of Hand in Hand India.
