Central Excise Department and GST has established special helpdesks for Goods and Services Tax information and other operations in Vellore and Thiruvallur districts of Tamil Nadu. This measure of the department is to facilitate and assist micro, small and medium scale enterprises (MSME) in term of tax related concerns.
The helpdesk project is the initiative from Indian government to support and encourage MSMEs operated from 80 districts. The small, medium and micro industries and service businesses needs some sort of clear source of information and helpdesk center for establishing the tax fixations and GST for the progression of local businesses.
The helpdesks will be available at Thiruvallur GST and Central Excise office (Smisha.Rajan @icegate@gov.in). Other centers of helpdesks are Poonamallee GST and Central Excise, division office (pmle-divnouter-tn@gov.in), Vellore GST and Central Excise Division Office (supdt-vlrdtech@nic.in) and Ranipet GST and Central Excise Division Office (Rpt-div-tn@gov.in).
