Sometimes after getting up in the morning we scratch our heads many times isnt it!! This scratching could lead to the formation of scabs in our heads. The scabs present in the head could cause lots of embarrassment for the person. It is said that when we scratch our heads constantly we cause damage to the layer of skin and this results in the formation of scabs in the head. The colour of the scab could vary from yellowish to reddish. Various factors that could cause scabs in the head are presence of oily scalp, dandruff and presence of lies etc. The issue of scabs in the head could be treated effectively in our homes.

By using aloe vera gel:
In the first step a small bowl is taken and to that is added aloe vera gel and vitamin E powder. The contents are mixed well. This is later applied on the scabs present in the head and left to stand. After a time of half an hour the head is rinsed and regular shampoo is used. When vitamin E powder is not available vitamin E pills could be used and the contents present in the pills could be poured.
By using lemon juice:
In the first step a bowl is taken and few drops olive oil is added to the bowl. This bowl is kept in a microwave and warmed. After taking the bowl out lemon juice is added. The contents in the bowl are mixed well. Later this combination is applied on the affected parts in the head and left to stand. Then after half an hour the head is washed with mild shampoo.
By using apple cider vinegar:
In the first step a cup with warm water is taken and apple cider vinegar is added to the cup. The contents are mixed well and later it is poured on the scalp having scabs. The head is massaged gently for few minutes. Finally the head is rinsed well with shampoo and conditioner.
By using oatmeal:
Not many are aware that oatmeal could be used to treat scabs in the heads. In the initial step a small bowl is taken and to that is added oatmeal and water. A semi thick paste is got by mixing the contents in the bowl. This paste is applied on the head with scabs and left to stand for 15 minutes. Finally the head is washed well with shampoo.
By jojoba oil and tea tree oil:
It is known that from the seed of the jojoba plant, jojoba oil is obtained and the leaves of tea tree give tree tea oil. In the first step a small bowl is taken and equal amounts of jojoba oil and tea tree oil is mixed in the bowl. This combination is taken in the finger and applied on the head. The head is massaged gently and the oil combination is allowed to stand. After a time of 10 minutes the head is washed using mild shampoo.
