Doctors assess health of Queen Elizabeth

THE QUEEN Elizabeth has been admitted to hospital with symptoms of gastroenteritis and all official engagements of the week will be either postponed or cancelled. The Queen also had a two-day visit to Rome, which is also postponed, according to a Buckingham Palace spokesman.
All official engagements for this week, including a two-day visit to Rome, will be either postponed or cancelled as a precaution, Buckingham Palace has said.
As a precautionary measure, she was not taken into hospital immediately after feeling gastroentertitis symptoms, but the Queen is assessed at the King Edward VII’s Hospital, London.
