The news is the Chennai Corporation has identified as many as 203 roads for planting saplings during the northeast monsoon season.

According to an official belonging to the corporation, in a month of time the work on most of the roads would be completed. In this year in the first phase as many as 100 roads were identified by the corporation officials. Now as per the revised list the number of roads has been increased to 203 roads. This was confirmed by the official. It is important to note that a total of 23000 saplings were proposed and out of that 6000 saplings have been planted along the roads in places like Madhavaram and Sholinganallur etc. It is now revealed that works on various important roads like Anna Nagar Second Avenue, Tank Bund Road, College Road, R.
