TNPSC Group-2 written exam results released

For an unprecedented 1st time, TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) has released the results of the written examination for the Group-2 category employees within a month of conducting the examination. The results of the TNPSC Group-2 written examination has been uploaded on the net today (Monday, 17th December).
The Preliminary written examination under the Group-2 category for the recruitment of 1199 Group-2 employees including Registrar, Revenue Department Assistant, Assistant Labour Analyst, Junior Job opportunities Officer, etc., on 11th November. 626726 candidates participated.
Subsequently, the ‘key answers’ for the question paper were released on 14th November. Also, TNPSC had announced if there were any objections to the key answers and reported, The applicants have to submit the same with complete details only online.
In the earlier period, all such requests were being received through written letter or e-mail. This also led to a delay in releasing the results. Hence, it has been changed that these complaints need to be made only online with complete details and proofs.
Meanwhile, the results of the Group-2 preliminary examination conducted in November has been uploaded online - www.tnpsc.gov.in.
A noteworthy feature this time is that the results have been released within a month after the exam was conducted. This will be a huge relief for the candidates who earlier needed to wait for a long and unspecified time awaiting results!
