In order to prevent the various maloperations in the motor vehicle associated activities, the central government Ministry of Transport has informed that the high-safety number plates would be fixed in all vehicles sold after 1st April 2019.
The senior leader of the BJP and the central transport minister, Nitin Gadkari, informed in the parliament yesterday:
‘Time was given to the public to offer their feedback/suggestions/recommendations regarding the issue of fixing High-safety number plates in all motor vehicles. In this accord, during a meeting held during June 2018, the Indian Vehicle Research Association, Central Road Transport Corporation, and the Indian Vehicle Manufacturers’ Association supported this proposal.
As per this proposal, a board bearing the High-safety number plates made with Laser technology will be fixed in all the motor vehicles sold after 1st April 2019.
This would facilitate complete prevention of all maloperations in the vehicle-related matters.`
