Only one book for +2 classes as a compilation from all elective subjects

Information has been gathered that the Tamil Nadu State Government Department of School Education has planned to issue a single text-book compiling the lessons from all the important subjects.
Presently, the textbooks are given in 2 sections compiled with all lessons for all subjects elective for the classes of +1 and +2.
In this system, the 1st book is taught till the quarterly examinations and the 2nd book will be taught for the half-yearly examination. For the annual examinations, questions will be asked from both the above-compiled textbook.
In this situation, approving the recommendations/requests from the academicians, the Department of School Education has planned to compile a single textbook covering the lesson of the subjects Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Botany, Commerce, and Accountancy.
Further, it is informed that this will be implemented during the next academic year 2019-20.
