This upcoming education channel for the students is different

This is a fantastic piece of news for the students. On 21st of January 2019, an education channel named ‘Kalvi Tholaikkaatchi’ would be making its presence felt and this channel would be launched by the government of Tamil Nadu for the sake of the students.

There would be many programmes for the students in this upcoming 24* 7 channel and these programmes would range from rhymes to NEET coaching for the students etc. The launching of this new channel would be carried out by chief minister of TN, Mr. E. Palaniswami. Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV or TACTV has been doing well in the recent times in TN and it is now revealed that this upcoming educational channel would be available on the TACTV. The content for this upcoming channel would be produced by 50 teachers and these teachers are now working on this. Amazing piece of information is this channel would be similar to any other channel but there would not be any advertisements shown. This was later confirmed by the sources. Using songs and animations in the programmes are superb ideas and the teachers are planning to incorporate these so that more students would be attracted towards the education channel of the TN.

Till now there has been some difficulty about the information regarding the scholarships available for the students and this would not be there anymore. This forthcoming channel would provide all the necessary information about various scholarships that are available for the students. In addition to this the channel would throw light on the competitions for the school students and messages from the dignitaries would also be telecasted.

It is brought out that NEET coaching would also be broadcasted live and the school education department is taking all the steps. There would be more interaction as the students would be allowed to call the experts. One important point is ‘Kalvi Tholaikkaatchi’ is a cable television and it would be telecasted through fibres optic cables.

For a time period of 8 hours as many as 15 types of programmes would be shown in this channel during the testing phase. It was pointed out that the content would be telecasted twice in a day so that more students would be able to watch the programmes. By this repeat telecast those students who have not watched the programmes during their school hours would be able to watch the programmes after reaching their homes. According to the sources, this TV programme is not focussed on the subjects alone. The programme would cover areas such as value integrated teaching and learning, sports activities, life skills, personality development and communication development etc for the benefit of the students.

On the 8th floor of the popular Anna Centenary Library in Kotturpuram, Chennai, a state-of-art studio for the TV channel would be set up. It would also double up as head office for the channel. It is worth mentioning here that the government of TN has already allotted amount of Rs 1.3 crores for purchasing cameras and other equipments.
