The advance booking centres for travel during the occasion of Pongal festival to native places are being commenced today (Wednesday, 9th January).
For the public passengers planning to travel to the respective native places to celebrate the Pongal festival, 30 advance booking centres have been set up in the Chennai Metro City and will be inaugurated at 10.00 PM today (9th January) by the State Minister for Transport, Vijayabhaskar at the Koyambedu bus terminus.
The break-up of the 30 advance booking centre in the Chennai Metro City:
- Koyambedu bus terminus – 26
- Tambaram Sanatorium – 2
- Poonamallee and Madhavaram New bus terminus – 1 each
A total of 30 above advance booking centres will start functioning from today (9th January)
