“I want to serve always the people of TN” J.Jayalalithaa

"My only aim is to serve always the people of Tamil Nadu and for the benefit of the Tamil Nadu I have been waging war with the Central Government", said the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Saturday at a felicitation offered to her by the various outfits of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural and Farmers Associations held at the Raja Serofoji College, Thanjavur.
During the DMK regime when Karunanidhi was TN PWD Minister , he never took any initiative as a Minister for the Cauvery Water problem, but the then TN Chief Minister M.G.Ramachandran took first initiative in solving the Cauvery issue with the Karnataka Government, Said the TN Chief Minister.
Ms J.Jayalalithaa was given felicitation by the Delta farmers, for notifying the Cauvery Tribunal Order in the Central Government Gazette.
More than a lakh of people from different parts of the Delta district attended the function in which various office bearers of the farmers organizations offered their felicitations to the Chief Minister wishing her a long life and also wished her to become India’s Prime Minister.
The felicitation function which started around 5 PM, came to end around 8 PM.
In the function TN Ministers R.Vaidyalingam, Jayapaul, Kamaraj, Communist Party leader Tha.Pandiayan, several ex-MLAs of the AIADMK party, including the Delta Farmers Association president Ranganathan and many others spoke at the function.
